No Azerbaijanis hurt in drone attack on ATA-2 near Odesa, capitan’s son says VIDEO/UPDATED/PHOTO
Azerbaijani citizens aboard the ATA-2 vessel, which came under a drone attack near the port of Odesa, are safe, the son of the ship's second captain, Muhammad Mahmudzade, has said.
According to him, despite sustaining damage, the vessel remains operational and is continuing its voyage using a manually operated backup steering system, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
"The vessel is now heading to Bulgaria. From there, it will sail to Istanbul, where it will undergo repairs after arriving. None of the crew members were injured," he noted.

The ATA-2 dry cargo ship, owned by Albatros Corporation and crewed mostly by Azerbaijani sailors, has reached Romania's Sulina port after coming under a drone attack near Odesa today.
The vessel came under attack by three drones in the morning of July 30, and sustained serious damage, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
It has a crew of 13, including one Turkish national and 12 Azerbaijani sailors.
