Prominent Turkish diplomat becomes member of Nizami Ganjavi International Center
Chairman of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly Volkan Bozkir, who served as the Minister of Türkiye for European Union Affairs in 2014-2015, 2015-2016, became a member of the Azerbaijani Nizami Ganjavi International Center.
Bozkir is currently a member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, served as Chief of Cabinet and Foreign Relations Adviser to President Turgut Ozal and President Suleyman Demirel from 1992-1996, and Türkiye's Ambassador to the European Union from 2005-2009, Report informs citing the Nizami Ganjavi International Center.
The main goal of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center is to promote global events and activities in the name of establishing peace, peaceful coexistence and justice in the world.
At the same time, the Center is studying the heritage of the outstanding representative of Azerbaijani science and culture, the brilliant poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi, its popularisation in the world, as well as the promotion of tolerance, mutual understanding and intercultural dialogue. To study and promote the literary heritage of Nizami Ganjavi, a network was formed, consisting of well-known local and foreign scientists. The Center brings together influential former heads of state and government, as well as international experts.
