Military academies of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Türkiye join forces in Gori
A trilateral meeting between the leadership of the National Defence Universities of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye was held in Gori, Georgia.
The meeting took place at the David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy and brought together senior representatives from the three countries’ military education institutions. The Azerbaijani delegation was led by Major General Arif Hasanov, Deputy Rector of the National Defence University for Science and Education, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan's Defence Ministry.
During the discussions, the participants exchanged views on expanding cooperation in military education, implementing joint scientific projects, and enhancing the exchange of experience in the training of professional service members.
The parties also discussed the introduction of modern methods in military education and addressed various issues of mutual interest.
Following the meeting, the delegations toured the David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy to familiarize themselves with the facilities and conditions created for cadets. The representatives extended their best wishes to participants in the sports competitions held among cadets from the three countries across various disciplines.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing the winners of the competitions.
