Washington hosts key conference on Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process
A significant conference focused on the peace process between Baku and Yerevan is currently underway in Washington, D.C.
The event, titled "The US in the South Caucasus: Mapping New Strategic Opportunities," is organized by the renowned Hudson Institute. It aims to explore the recently brokered agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which was signed in Washington under the auspices of US mediation, as well as broader regional dynamics, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The conference brings together leading American experts and government officials to engage in in-depth discussions on the implications of the agreement and the prospects for lasting stability in the South Caucasus region.
The conference will also explore the evolving role of the United States in the South Caucasus and assess how renewed peace efforts could reshape the Eurasian strategic landscape.
