Pundit: African countries support Azerbaijan's territorial integrity

Chairman of the Board of the Center for the Analysis of International Relations (CAMR) Farid Shafiyev has said that African countries supported the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, including during the Second Karabakh War (2020).

He made the remarks at a conference on Africa Day dedicated to the "Empowerment of Africa and the promotion of multilateralism in the era of global challenges: the role of the Non-Aligned Movement," Report informs.

According to him, African countries are important within the Non-Aligned Movement, and Azerbaijan drew attention to this within its chairmanship in the organization.

May 25 is Africa Day, marking the anniversary of the creation in 1963 of the Organization of African Unity, which was succeeded by the African Union.
