Putin calls Belarus "good neighbour", "ally" during visit to Minsk

In the course of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s meeting with Russia’s Vladimir Putin in Minsk on December 19, the latter stated that the two countries can be satisfied with how their relationship is developing.

As Gazeta.Ru reported, the two leaders have paid a great deal of attention in recent times to security matters and cooperation in the international arena, according to Putin.

Putin also noted on the fact, that Belarus is not only a “good neighbour” to Russia but also an “ally” that contributes to resolving all economic issues.
