Rebuilding of electricity infrastructure across liberated Azerbaijani territories in full swing
Azerbaijan's energy providers are continuing their efforts of rebuilding essential infrastructure systems in the liberated territories, with the development of power centers and modernized substations in Lachin being the latest addition to this long-term project.
Vusal Ganbarov, Technical Advisor to the Chairman of Azerbaijan's electricty provider Azerishiq has revealed details on the construction progress of a new 35-kilovolt power center, as well as a Digital Control Center in Lachin region, Caliber.Az reports citing AZERTAG. .
According to Ganbarov, the construction of the 110/35/10-kilovolt "Minkend" substation is nearing completion, as well as the installation of a 35-kilovolt double-circuit self-supporting insulated wire (SIP) between the "Aghbulag" hydropower plant and the "Minkend" substation.
He went on to provide further details on the construction progress of several active projects across Azerbaijan's territories that have been liberated by the army from illegal Armenian armed occupation in 2020.
In Khojaly, the construction of the same-titled substation and control center is ongoing, along with substations in the villages of Malibeyli and Sighnag in the Asgaran district. In Khojavend, a 35-kilovolt SIP is being built between the "Zoghalbulagh" substation and the "Govshag" substation in Hadrut. Additionally, new transformer substations meeting modern standards are under construction in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Jabrayil districts. He also noted that final work is underway at the Digital Control Center built in the Gubadli district.
