Russia launches missile attack on Kharkiv, two injured photo
Two people were injured following a Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, according to Ukraine State Emergency Service's post on Telegram.
The attack took place in the evening, when Russian forces launched several missiles at the city’s Industrial District. One of the strikes hit a building belonging to an educational institution, resulting in significant damage and a fire. Nearby multi-story residential buildings were also affected by the blast.
Another missile strike was reported at a separate location in the district, where a fire also broke out. Emergency crews are continuing to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
Rescue units from the State Emergency Service are working at the scenes alongside National Police officers, medical personnel, volunteers, and the city’s emergency and municipal services.
