Russia-West rivalry not directly related to Armenia, says Pashinyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the rivalry between Russia and the West is not directly related to Armenia.

“All this rivalry between powers is not directly related to us. You are aware of the work of the OSCE Minsk Group, which was created to resolve the Karabakh conflict. But since February 24, 2022, the co-chair countries of the group simply stopped interacting. Hence all the problems,” he said in an interview with Euronews on August 1.

When asked what he could wish for ordinary people in Azerbaijan, the head of the Armenian government replied that he would like the civil societies of Armenia and Azerbaijan to demand a peaceful agenda from their governments.
