Russian attack involving 666 targets hits Ukraine infrastructure
Russian forces carried out a large-scale combined overnight strike on critical infrastructure facilities across Ukraine on April 25, employing attack drones along with air-, sea-, and ground-launched missiles, according to the information released by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Air Force radio-technical troops detected a total of 666 aerial attack assets, including 47 missiles and 619 unmanned aerial vehicles.

The missile component consisted of:
12 Iskander-M/S (KN-23) ballistic missiles;
29 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
1 Iskander-K cruise missile
5 Kalibr cruise missiles.
The drone component included 619 strike UAVs of various types, specifically Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other models, with approximately 400 identified as Shahed drones.
The attack was repelled by multiple elements of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, including aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups.
According to preliminary data as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defences shot down or suppressed 610 aerial targets, including 30 missiles and 580 drones of various types.
Among the intercepted weapons were:
26 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
4 Kalibr cruise missiles;
580 UAVs of different types.
At the same time, confirmed impacts were recorded from 13 missiles and 36 strike drones across 23 separate locations.
In addition, debris from downed drones fell in nine locations.
