Russian defence industry boosts production Defence Minister says
Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu has said that the national military-industrial complex (DIC) has significantly increased its production volume to supply the Russian troops.
“For the uninterrupted supply of troops involved in the zone of a special military operation, enterprises of the military-industrial complex have significantly increased the production of the most popular types of weapons and means of destruction...” Shoigu said at the final thematic conference, Gazeta.Ru reports.
According to him, many defence industry enterprises have switched to round-the-clock operation.
He added that workers in this industry were challenging "the vaunted Western military-technical capabilities."
