Russian drone strikes across multiple Ukrainian regions cause civilian casualties PHOTO/VIDEO
Several regions of Ukraine have reported civilian casualties and infrastructure damage following Russian shelling and drone attacks over the past 24 hours.
In the Sumy region, a Russian drone struck a civilian vehicle in the Bilopillia community, killing a woman and injuring the driver. In the Seredina-Buda community, another woman was killed when a drone hit her home. Authorities said a total of two people were killed in the region, while 16 others were wounded or injured in various attacks, Caliber.Az reports via Ukrainian media.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, a drone strike on a critical infrastructure facility killed one man, according to local authorities. Officials also reported that on June 12, Russian forces shelled 49 settlements in the region, killing one person and injuring eight others.
In Kryvyi Rih, a critical infrastructure site was targeted by a Russian strike, though local officials said there were no immediate casualties. Separately, the Dnipropetrovsk region came under more than 20 strikes across three districts on June 12, resulting in one death and 13 injuries.
In the Kharkiv region, guided bombs struck the village of Shevchenkove, damaging hospital buildings, while a drone attack hit the village of Petrovka. One person was killed in the region over the past day, with four others injured or suffering acute stress reactions.
In Mykolaiv, two people were injured by falling drone debris overnight, and a child experienced acute stress reaction.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and 15 injured over the past 24 hours amid widespread shelling across 48 settlements. Residential buildings, infrastructure, and equipment were damaged, local officials said.
In the Donetsk region, one person was killed and seven were wounded in attacks over the same period. Authorities said a resident of Druzhkivka was killed, while others were injured in Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, and Druzhkivka.
