Russian election body receives over 10 applications from presidential hopefuls

The Russian Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has so far received applications from 16 presidential hopefuls, CEC Chairperson Ella Pamfilova has said.

“The elections will be held on March 15-17, 2024. Candidates are being actively nominated for the position of president,” Interfax reports, quoting Pamfilova as saying.
