Russian public trust in President Putin climbs to 80% Survey

Russians' trust in Russian President Vladimir Putin has increased by 1 percentage point to 80%.

As much as 81% of respondents believe that Putin is successfully coping with his job, Caliber.Az report, citing Russian media.

As TASS reports, this is evidenced by the results of a poll by the Public Opinion Foundation, conducted from 19 to 21 July among 1,500 Russians.

"Eighty per cent of Russians (plus 1 percentage point for the week) declared confidence in Vladimir Putin. Also, the majority of the population (81% - no change) is confident that he is doing a good job as head of state", - noted in the message of the social service.
