Russian strikes hit 10 settlements in Kharkiv region, one killed, four injured PHOTO
Russian forces struck ten settlements in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region over the past 24 hours, leaving one person dead and four others injured, including a child, local authorities have reported.
Oleh Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, confirmed that the attacks targeted civilian areas using a range of weapons, including seven KAB precision-guided bombs, six Geran-2 drones, four FPV drones, and one additional unmanned aerial vehicle of unspecified type.
Infrastructure across the region sustained significant damage, with several buildings destroyed or partially damaged in the strikes. Emergency services continue to assess the full scale of the destruction.
The attacks come amid ongoing tensions in eastern Ukraine, where Russian forces have repeatedly targeted settlements near the front line, raising concerns for civilian safety.
