Russian strikes leave multiple injured, extensive property damage in eastern Ukraine photo
Since the evening, Russian forces have been shelling the Nikopol district of Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, including the Pokrovska and Marhanetska communities, using FPV drones and heavy artillery.
Vladyslav Haivanenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported on his Telegram channel that the shelling damaged two private houses and gas pipelines, and a vehicle caught fire. A 53-year-old woman was injured by shrapnel and is in moderate condition.
In the Nikopol area, UAV strikes were also recorded in the Mykolaivska and Vasylkivska communities of the Synelnykove district. Eleven residential houses were damaged, one was completely destroyed, six outbuildings were damaged, along with vehicles and a power line.
In Kryvyi Rih, updated reports indicate that six people were injured in a missile strike. In addition to an administrative building, 12 apartment buildings and 23 private houses, a school, garages, a store, and vehicles were damaged.
The Ukrainian Air Force shot down 16 Russian drones over the region.
