Shusha conference call on world to support restoration of destroyed cultural monuments
The participants of the Shusha international conference have called on the world community to support Azerbaijan's humanitarian initiatives on the restoration of infrastructure and destroyed historical monuments.
The participants of the international conference "Development of the post-conflict humanitarian agenda: sustainable development through the revitalization of cultural environment" that ended today in Shusha, have appealed to the international community to provide unconditional and resolute support to the humanitarian initiatives of the Azerbaijani government aimed at, along with aforementioned things, reviving culture and heritage in the post-conflict period, according to Report.
“We call on the international community to support confidence-building measures, the revival of cultural, religious and natural heritage, and efforts to promote successful models of post-conflict reconciliation,” the appeal says.
