Tajik president orders sweeping changes in security, judicial leadership

President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan has ordered significant personnel changes across the country’s law enforcement and judicial institutions, according to a statement released by his press service.
The reshuffle includes the appointment of new heads of several key agencies, among them the Ministry of Defence, the National Guard, the Border Guard Service, the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption, and the Criminal Executive Department under the Ministry of Justice, Caliber.Az reports.
In addition, President Rahmon approved new military commissars for several districts, including Mir Said Ali Khamadoni, Dangara, Vakhsh, Abdurahman Jami, Yavan, and Shahristan.
