Tehran refuses negotiations, threatens retaliation against US interests
Iran’s Ambassador to Serbia, Mohammad Sadek Fazli, declared that Tehran will no longer engage in negotiations with the United States, accusing Washington of aggression and a complete lack of moral principles, TASS reports.
Speaking in an interview with Serbian television, Fazli said, “We will no longer negotiate with the Americans. Unfortunately, the situation is such that the Americans say whatever comes to mind, and values or morality mean nothing to them.”
Fazli emphasized that Iran has repeatedly warned of the consequences of potential attacks by the US or Israel. “If an attack is carried out by the US or the Zionist regime, we will strike all US interests and American bases in the region. These bases are the source of attacks against us. We respond with strikes against the places from which the attacks originate,” he said.
The ambassador clarified that Tehran views such targets as part of the military infrastructure of a state carrying out aggression against Iran. “We target the military and intelligence bases of the state that attacks us. This is not an attack on the territory of the country where these bases are located,” Fazli explained.
He also cited instances of alleged false-flag operations in the region. “Events have occurred that are attributed to Iran. However, Qatar and Saudi Arabia reported that terrorist elements of Mossad were operating on their territories,” he said.
Fazli further rejected US claims that Iran is developing nuclear weapons, calling the accusations “a big lie.” He acknowledged that “it may be true that Iran possesses enriched uranium, but claims that it is being used to make a nuclear bomb are not accurate.”
