Three buses involved in accident in Istanbul, several injured PHOTO

A major traffic accident involving three passenger buses and a concrete mixer truck has left numerous individuals injured in Istanbul’s Şahintepe neighborhood.

The incident occurred on a street in Old Istanbul, where a bus collided with a concrete mixer truck, triggering a chain of events, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.

Emergency responders, including medics, firefighters, and police, rushed to the scene.

As first responders worked to clear the initial crash, a second accident unfolded when another bus collided with a passenger bus traveling ahead of it on the same street.

Several people sustained injuries in both accidents. Medical teams administered first aid on-site before transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

Due to the severity of the accidents, the street has been closed to traffic, and rescue operations are ongoing as authorities work to manage the aftermath of the crash.
