Trial reveals murky details of Armenian gang’s gruesome murders in Karabakh
Local residents had seen that members of illegal Armenian armed groups burned the bodies of two murdered women in Azerbaijan’s Meshali village.
In his testimony, victim Ali Mehraliyev noted that his father and cousin were also shot dead in Meshali, Report informs, citing Mehraliyev’s testimony, read out at the court hearing in Meshali genocide culprit Vagif Khachaturyan’s criminal case on November 1.
“I witnessed the murder of several other villagers. I saw that they burned the bodies of two killed women. We managed to bury my father, then we had to leave Meshali,” he added.
Victim Sadagat Ismayilova said in her testimony that her husband Tahir voluntarily joined the army immediately after the beginning of the first Karabakh war.
“They phoned me and said that my husband Tahir was killed during the Meshali genocide. The Armenians set fire to all the houses,” she said.
Both victims did not wish to attend the trial in person for some reasons.
The case of Khachaturyan, accused of involvement in the Meshali genocide in Khojaly District as part of illegal Armenian armed groups, is being considered in the administrative building of Yasamal District court.
