Truck crashes into school bus in Türkiye, dozens injured PHOTO
A truck collided with a school bus in the Turkish city of Muğla.
The truck, driven by S.D., lost control due to brake failure and slammed into the school bus on Ölüdeniz Street in the Patlangıç district, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.
As a result of the accident, 22 people on the bus were injured, including one teacher.

Multiple medical teams were dispatched to the scene after the incident.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance and are reported to be in non-life-threatening condition.
Türkiye has witnessed several severe road accidents involving trucks and passenger buses over the past two decades, with human error, mechanical failure, and inadequate road safety standards often cited as contributing factors.
One of the deadliest such incidents occurred on April 14, 2007, when a school excursion bus collided with a truck in Aksaray province, killing 33 people, including 15 children.
Other major crashes have also drawn attention to systemic safety concerns; for example, a 2011 collision between a passenger bus and a truck in southeastern Türkiye left 25 people dead.
