Turkish Air Force strikes terrorist targets in Iraq VIDEO
During the air operation against terrorist groups in the areas of Metina, Hakurk, Gara, Qandil and Asos in northern Iraq, 22 objects were destroyed and many terrorists were neutralised, the Turkish Ministry of National Defence said in a statement.
The statement said that on October 4 at 19.00, in accordance with the right of self-defence arising from Article 51 of the UN Charter, an air operation was carried out against terrorist organizations in the areas of Metina, Hakurk, Gara, Qandil and Asos in northern Iraq, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry's social network X.

According to this information, the goal of the operation is to neutralize the PKK/KSK terrorist groups and other terrorist elements that threaten civilians and border security.
In particular, the ministry statement notes:
“As a result of the airstrikes, 22 facilities were destroyed, consisting of caves, shelters, bunkers, shelters and warehouses used by the separatist terrorist organization, in which senior members of these organizations were allegedly hiding. During the operations carried out, a large number of terrorists were neutralized, while domestic and national ammunition was used to the maximum extent possible. The fight against terrorism will continue until there is not a single terrorist left in this geography.”
