Turkish, Armenian leaders may meet in Prague
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan may meet in Prague, the Czech Republic.
In an interview with journalists after returning from a trip to the US, Erdogan said that Prague will host a summit of the European Political Community, and preparations in this regard are currently underway, APA reports.
“We appreciate the opportunity to participate in the summit, which is currently taking place in Prague. Pashinyan intends to come there. He seems to have anticipated the possibility of our meeting there. Maybe we can talk to him about these issues there,” the Turkish leader said.
In addition, Erdogan noted that his country will take certain steps on these issues in the South Caucasus: “So far we are only in the planning process. We will discuss these issues with President Ilham Aliyev and take appropriate steps.”
