Turkish experts join archaeological excavations in Azerbaijani liberated lands
Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Anar Karimov has said that Turkish experts are involved in archaeological excavations in the Azerbaijani territories liberated from occupation.
Karimov made these remarks at a meeting with Turkish Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Ahmet Misbah Demircan in Baku on December 20, Report informs.
The minister expressed gratification with the process of organising the second meeting of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Joint Cultural Commission in Baku on December 19 and holding important discussions in connection with cooperation in various fields of culture.
The issues of cooperation in the field of museums, libraries, cultural heritage, protection and promotion were also discussed during the meeting.
Karimov noted that there is a need for Türkiye's experience in the restoration and reconstruction of historical and cultural monuments subjected to Armenian vandalism in the Azerbaijani territories liberated from occupation.
The minister noted that Turkish specialists are also participating in the archaeological excavations being carried out in the de-occupied territories and other districts.
The issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
