Turkish intelligence eliminates one of PKK terrorists’ leaders PHOTO
The Turkish National Intelligence Organisation has conducted another successful operation in northern Iraq to neutralise the leaders of the PKK terrorist organisation.
One of the leaders of the PKK terrorists, Hatice Hezer, was eliminated in the city of Suleymaniye under the call sign Berivan Zilan, Anadolu Agency informs, citing sources in the Turkish security structures.
Hezer has been in the terrorist ranks since 1991. A group of the intelligence organisation’s employees who participated in the liquidation of the terrorist was brought back to Türkiye.
Terrorist Hatice Hezer was appointed the head of the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) detachment (the women's wing of the PKK) in Armenia in 2004.
Since 2008, she has been in the ranks of terrorists in the Makhmour camp area in northern Iraq, and since 2017 she has led PJAK units in Syria.
The murdered terrorist was the elder sister of Heather Ozturk, the former MP of the Turkish Parliament from the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in the province of Van Tugba. Their brother was killed by the Turkish military in a shootout in 1998.
