Türkiye's Albayrak to own 49% in fertilizer terminal in Port of Baku
Director general of the Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC Taleh Ziyadov has said that the details of the agreement between the Baku International Sea Trade Port and the Turkish Albayrak Group in connection with the fertilizer terminal in the Port of Baku have been disclosed.
Albayrak Group will own a 49 per cent stake in the fertilizer terminal and will start operating in the Ro-Ro terminal next month,” Report informs referring to Ziyadov.
“The approach is comprehensive. Together with partner ports in Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, the work will be carried out to properly manage supply chains. The construction of the fertilizer terminal in the Port of Baku is planned to be completed in the first quarter of next year,” Ziyadov added.
Türkiye's Albayrak Group leading holding, uniting more than 50 companies and having extensive experience in port management and the formation of international trade not only in Türkiye, but also in Europe and Africa, will be involved in expanding the regional logistics capabilities in the Port of Baku.
In this regard, a cooperation agreement was signed between Baku International Sea Trade Port and Albayrak Group.
