Turkmenistan pledges to deepen cooperation with Azerbaijan
Turkmenistan remains committed to strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said during a meeting with Azerbaijan’s Culture Minister Adil Kerimli, who is visiting the country.
Speaking at the meeting, Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of cultural diplomacy in bilateral relations and expressed confidence that the ongoing Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Turkmenistan would contribute significantly to closer ties.
“Turkmenistan is committed to developing cooperation with brotherly Azerbaijan,” Berdimuhamedov said.
He also pointed to the role of shared historical and cultural heritage as a foundation for expanding interstate dialogue, recalling the successful organisation of the Days of Turkmen Culture in Azerbaijan in October last year.
Kerimli, for his part, said Azerbaijan places particular importance on deepening relations with Turkmenistan and underlined the significance of reciprocal cultural initiatives in strengthening bilateral engagement.
Both sides noted that cooperation between the two countries continues to develop dynamically across political and diplomatic relations, trade and economic ties, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
