UAE official eyes regional security threats from Iran in UN meetings
The United Arab Emirates’ Minister of State Lana Nusseibeh held a series of meetings with UN ambassadors from China, Denmark, France, the UK, Greece, India, Pakistan, and Russia to discuss the repercussions of Iran’s recent attacks on the UAE, other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, and Jordan.
According to the UAE Mission to the UN, Minister Nusseibeh emphasised the “grave implications of Iran's attacks and threats on international peace and security,” noting their potential impact on freedom of navigation, energy and food security, and the global economy, Caliber.Az reports.

The meetings also addressed Iran’s actions affecting navigation in and around the Strait of Hormuz.
