UK envoy excited by pace of restoration of Azerbaijan's liberated lands

Many British companies are helping Azerbaijan demine the liberated lands.

British Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp made the relevant statement while talking to journalists in Kalbajar on May 31.

The United Kingdom, among other things, sponsored the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in demining issues, and technically assisted Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), as well, according to Report.

The ambassador also emphasised that he was excited to see the rapid pace of reconstruction and restoration work in the territories of Azerbaijan, liberated from Armenian occupation.
