Earlier, the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Oleksiy Kuleba, said that the consequences of attacks on infrastructure facilities in the Ukrainian region are significant, as a result of which several districts lost power supply.
Ukrenergo confirmed that there were strikes on infrastructure facilities. They also reported that units of the state emergency service are currently working to eliminate the consequences of shelling.
According to the company, the most difficult situation has been seen in the centre and east of Ukraine, in particular in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv regions of the country and the part of the Zaporizhzhia region controlled by Kyiv.
“Despite all the damage, the power engineers keep the situation under control. The power system maintains a stable frequency of 50 Hz, we work synchronously with the European continental grid,” Ukrenergo said.
