Ukraine urges countries to rapidly send air defence systems

The adviser to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Mykhailo Podolyak, has said that the Russian Federation is shelling Ukraine again.

“World should stop being afraid of great escalation and should rapidly send air defence systems,” Podolyak noted, RBC-Ukraine reports.

He said that Russia is shelling Ukrainian cities, energy facilities and residential buildings.

The adviser again criticised the proposals to allow Russian President Vladimir Putin to "save reputation".

“Is it worth further slowing down the process of transferring missile defence systems to 'prevent escalation'?" Podolyak said.
