Ukrainian drones hit key Russian petrochemical plant in Bashkortostan photo
Drones operated by Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) carried out a precision strike on one of Russia’s key petrochemical facilities located in Bashkortostan, according to RBC-Ukraine, citing the intelligence agency.
The attack, conducted on November 6, targeted the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant (SPP), a critical component of Russia’s petrochemical industry that plays an active role in supporting the country’s military needs.

The plant manufactures strategically important materials for the Russian defence sector, including ionol, aviation gasoline, and synthetic polymers. Following the strike, a fire reportedly broke out in the workshop responsible for producing agidol—an essential additive to aviation fuel used by Russian military aircraft, the GUR said.
Ukrainian intelligence described the operation as a significant blow to Russia’s military-industrial capabilities, stressing that the attack disrupted both logistics and production processes vital to the Russian army.

According to the GUR, this operation once again demonstrated Ukraine’s capacity to reach and effectively strike strategic enemy targets deep within Russian territory.
