Ukrainian first lady expresses gratitude to Azerbaijani culture ministry
Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska has expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani Culture Ministry.
“What should we do for our voice to be heard all over the world? We should work together. Today, we are all ambassadors of our culture, no matter where the war has thrown us,” Zelenska said in an exclusive interview with Report while expressing gratitude.
“We have our language, traditions, music, and literature. Through our culture, we show our values, what we struggle for, and what we stand for. Therefore, the projects that I launched even before the war, not only have kept their relevance but have acquired additional significance. For example, Ukrainian-language audio guides to the cultural sights of the world, which we have already launched in 35 countries, not only a convenience for tourists, but a sign that Ukraine and the civilised world have a common language - the language of culture,” she noted.
“By the way, such guides are also available in Azerbaijan - one of the first audio guides in Ukrainian, on my initiative, appeared at the Azerbaijani National Carpet Museum in Baku in August 2020. We have recently launched our second audio guide in the Gobustan National Park. I am grateful to our diplomats and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture for this action. I dream that the next audio guide in Azerbaijan will appear at the Heydar Aliyev Centre,” the Ukrainian First Lady added.
