UNESCO approves nominations of Azerbaijani intangible heritage list

UNESCO has positively assessed the nominations submitted to the list of intangible heritage of Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani Culture Ministry has submitted four different nominations for inclusion in the UNESCO list of intangible heritage, APA reports.

The list includes "Pahlavan and traditional sport of zorkhana", "Oral tradition of Molla Nasreddin jokes", "Traditional silk production for cocooning, silk weaving" and "Tea culture as a symbol of national identity, social contacts".
