US company begins work on “Trump Route” project in Armenia
A team from the US engineering and consulting firm AECOM has begun field assessments in Armenia as part of the TRIPP initiative (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity), commissioned by the US State Department’s Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI).
According to the Armenian government’s press service, company representatives briefed Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan on the main directions and expected outcomes of the feasibility study they are set to prepare.
The US Embassy in Armenia said the delegation, led by Ann Marie Yastishock, Senior Advisor at the State Department’s Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs, discussed next steps for advancing the TRIPP project with Grigoryan.

The delegation also included representatives of the US International Development Finance Corporation, who noted significant progress in operational and legal aspects related to the initiative.
