US strategic oil reserve shrinks to 40-year low

The US strategic oil reserve has fallen to its lowest level since November 1983, to 369.6 million barrels.

According to Gazeta.ru, this follows from the weekly review of the Energy Information Administration of the US Department of Energy.

It is noted that in November 1983, the US oil reserve also stood at 369.6 million barrels. At the same time, over the past week, the indicator fell by 1.6 million barrels.
