US to host meetings on demining Azerbaijan

A delegation led by Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov has been scheduled to visit the United States.

The delegation consists of the representatives of the secretariat of the interdepartmental coordination centre for the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories and officials from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, ANAMA told Caliber.Az.

The meetings and round table discussions will be held with several important organisations as part of the visit. It will take place from September 12 to 16, 2022, to put the problem of mines in Azerbaijan on the agenda, and outline the issues of restoring the liberated territories as the main strategic goal, rendering possible support in this sphere.
