Uzbek president, Azerbaijani culture minister discuss strengthening bilateral relations

The meeting with the President of Uzbekistan primarily focused on deliberations regarding the further expansion of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, particularly in the realm of humanitarian affairs.

President Mirziyoyev underscored the increasing intensity of cultural exchanges between the two countries in recent years. Moreover, both sides emphasized the significance of sustaining the vigorous dialogue and robust program of cultural events outlined in the 'road map'. They also emphasized the promotion of joint initiatives and projects within the framework of esteemed international organizations such as UNESCO, TURKSOY, and ISESCO.

Notably, as part of the ongoing Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Uzbekistan, a book presentation featuring the works of the esteemed poet and thinker Mahammad Fuzuli was organized.
