Azerbaijan, South Korea hold political consultations

Azerbaijan and South Korea have held a new round of political consultations, with senior officials discussing ways to deepen cooperation across a range of sectors, including digital transformation, innovation, education, energy, and connectivity.

In a post on X, Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov said he co-chaired the consultations with South Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Chung Eui-hae, Caliber.Az reports.

According to Mammadov, the discussions focused on the expanding scope of bilateral relations and opportunities for practical cooperation between the two countries.

“Our discussions highlighted the growing scope of bilateral cooperation, from digital transformation and innovation to education, energy and connectivity,” Mammadov said.

He added that regular political consultations remain an important mechanism for strengthening ties and identifying new areas of collaboration.

“As Azerbaijan and Korea continue to deepen engagement across multiple sectors, regular political dialogue remains an important platform for identifying new opportunities and advancing practical cooperation,” he said.
