Yemen’s Houthis hit three Israeli cities in drone strike Brig Gen Saree announces
Yemen’s Armed Forces Spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on July 30 that Yemeni forces carried out a series of drone strikes targeting Israeli sites, in a response to ongoing Israeli military actions in Gaza.
According to the statement by Yemeni Armed Forces, the operations involved five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched in three separate strikes. The first targeted a “sensitive site” in the Jaffa area using two drones. The second strike involved two additional drones directed at a military facility in Ashkelon. The third strike, using one drone, was aimed at a military site in the Negev Desert, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
General Saree stated that all drones successfully hit their intended targets.
The Yemeni military stated that the strikes were an act of solidarity with Palestinians, particularly in Gaza, where the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate amid ongoing hostilities. The armed forces called on Arab and Islamic nations to take action by staging mass protests and demanding an end to the siege and military campaign in the Gaza Strip.
The military concluded the statement by warning that similar operations would continue “until the aggression on Gaza ceases and the blockade is lifted.”
