Yeni Şafak: Türkiye developing new stealth drone PHOTO
Baykar Technology has unveiled a new stealth strike drone.
According to Yeni Şafak, the unannounced development of a new UAV, most likely the future Bayraktar TB4, has been spotted on the concept art of the Ukrainian research and production centre Baykar.
The Bayraktar TB4 will have a very impressive appearance. With a mixed wing hull design, flat fuselage shape, large wingspan, pusher propeller, and enhanced stealth performance, possibly with an internal weapons compartment, it will be able to penetrate air defence systems and attack high-value targets.
The only point in making the drone as flat as possible is to reduce its radar visibility, which directly affects the survivability of a drone of this class on the battlefield. It will have a much lower RCS (Radar cross-section) signature and greater survivability compared to the TB2.
Ukrainian research and production centre Baykar will produce the entire range of the Turkish company's drones, as noted by CEO Haluk Bayraktar.
