Zelenskyy moves to extend martial law, mobilisation in Ukraine PHOTO

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted draft legislation to the Verkhovna Rada seeking to extend the country’s martial law and general mobilisation, according to an official statement published on the parliament’s website.

Under current regulations, both measures are due to expire on May 4. Should lawmakers approve the president’s proposals, the new period would run until August 2.
