Kyrgyzstan,Tajikistan sign document to end conflict

The heads of the National Security Committees of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have held talks on the settlement of the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, Kyrgyzstan's National Security State Committee Chairman Kamchybek Tashiyev has said.
"Negotiations were held at the Kyzyl-Bel checkpoint in Batken region with the head of the State Security Committee of Tajikistan, Saimumin Yatimov, to resolve the situation on the border," Tashiyev said, Interfax reports.
He noted that a protocol was signed with the Tajik side on ending the conflict and its consequences.
"I hope that all the points of the protocol will be implemented, and peace and harmony will come to the Kyrgyz and Tajik lands," Tashiyev said.
