Two deaths from Armenian plane crash are Russian citizens UPDATE

The Head of the Kotayk Provincial Rescue Department, Gevorg Sedrakyan, has said that according to the preliminary data, those killed in the plane crash were Russian citizens.
Poor weather conditions, namely low visibility due to thick fog and rough terrain have been named as the preliminary cause for the accident.
“The two charred bodies have not been evacuated yet, as the staff of the investigative committee is still working at the scene”, Sedrakyan said.
According to the preliminary data, the vessel was a private plane and registered in Slovakia. The passengers were en route to the Russian port city of Astrakhan near the Caspian Sea, departing from Yerevan's Zvartnots airport.

The crisis management centre received a message about the plane crash around 14:20 (GMT+4), as Caliber.Az reports citing the Armenian media.
Rescue workers have been deployed to the site, located only 30 km from the capital Yerevan, with two charred bodies having already been discovered at the site.
