Russian peacekeepers attempt to block Azerbaijani journalists in Karabakh What are the peacekeepers hiding?

Military personnel of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, temporarily stationed on the territory of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, tried to obstruct Azerbaijani journalists, including a journalist from Public Television (ITV).

An employee of the channel who was on a mission in the region reported that the peacekeepers tried to prevent him from entering the zone of their temporary responsibility.

The journalist said that the Russian peacekeepers are now doing things that are not in fact their responsibility. This includes obstructing the activities of Azerbaijani journalists.

"Russian soldiers absurdly prohibit Azerbaijani journalists from filming on Azerbaijani territory," he said.
