Ministry: Azerbaijan, Italy expanding environmental cooperation

Spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Irada Ibrahimova has said that Azerbaijani Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev met with Italian Minister of Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan.

“The issues of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy in protecting the environment and biological diversity were discussed at the meeting,” Ibrahimova told Caliber.Az.

Other topical issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
