Putin: Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia to discuss unblocking transport communications next week
Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced the holding of a meeting of the Deputy Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation, Armenia and Azerbaijan next week to resolve the remaining issues on unblocking transport communications in the region.
“We have now agreed that in the near future, in a week, I will now ask my colleagues to agree on this date, the vice-premiers of the Russian, Azerbaijani and Armenian governments will meet and the issues that have not yet been cleared up, so to speak, will be removed,” Putin said on May 25, at a trilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, according to TASS.
The Russian president noted that this is "a good agreement, which gives hope that the issues that have not been resolved so far will be resolved."
According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, "the meeting of the vice-premiers will be held in Moscow".
