MP: Satellite surveillance must be enhanced in Azerbaijan’s liberated lands

Azerbaijani MP for economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship Vugar Bayramov has said that satellite surveillance needs to be strengthened in the liberated territories.

He made the remarks while speaking at an event for ministers and members of parliament, according to Report.

Bayramov noted that after the end of the Second Garabagh War of 2020, more than 300 civilians became victims of landmines in the Azerbaijani liberated territories.

The MP believes that research and satellite observations in these territories are of particular importance.

“This fact once again emphasizes the importance of satellite observations. I think surveillance in these areas needs to be stepped up," he added.
