Azerbaijan discovers Armenian drug plantation in recently liberated lands VIDEO
Another Armenian drug plantation has been discovered in Gushchular village of the Shusha district, liberated by Azerbaijan as a result of the recent anti-terrorist operation.
The plantation covers 5 hectares of territory, where special agrotechnical care was provided to narcotic plants until recently, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry told Caliber.Az.
An investigation has been launched into the case.
Earlier, a cannabis plantation was discovered on 100 hectares in Khojaly, which was provided with special agrotechnical care, the Interior Ministry reported.
Azerbaijani Interior Ministry's spokesperson Elshad Hajiyev said that during 30 years of occupation, illegal Armenian formations in Garabagh cultivated plants containing narcotic substances in large volumes.
